We are hiring a Software Engineer to grow and scale our product suite of digital health applications that empower people living with chronic kidney disease (CKD). In building our product suite, your work will contribute to our goal of significantly reducing hospitalizations and extending life expectancy of our products’ users.

As our Software Engineer, you will develop the backbone of our patient app Mizu as well as our web applications for medical professionals for the next generation of our chronic care platform, which is medical-grade software.

In your role, you will be setting up structures and processes that will enable the smooth delivery of our digital product suite. You will be handling sensitive medical data, integrating medical products and patient record systems and creating individualized therapy plans, delivered to chronic patients in medical product. You will collaborate closely with the rest of our dev team, as well as product and data science team members in an agile and fun work setting.

You will shape the path of our rapidly growing start-up Carealytix by contributing to developing a top-notch product suite and tech stack. By that, you help medical staff improve care delivery and extend it directly to the daily life of patients. Your impact will be pivotal for taking the Carealytix product suite to the next level and change the lives of those living with CKD.‍

Can you tick these boxes?

- Full working proficiency in English 🇺🇸
- Your are living and working in the CET time zone or with at most +/-3 hours difference. 🌍
- Degree in Computer Science or related fields, e.g., Mathematics or Physics
- Ability and openness to learn fast
- Deep Experience in a common programming language such as JavaScript / TypeScript
- Experience with web development in NodeJS / ExpressJS
- Experience in working with Databases such as PostgreSQL
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Additional brownie points for: experience with RESTful API design, Docker, Kubernetes; frontend dev experience with web or mobile technologies
