As a working student in a Software Engineering role at Fulfin, you will make meaningful contributions to the product with support from our senior engineers, developing essential cross-functional skills.

Key responsibilities:

1) Work closely with our credit risk team to develop algorithms & scorecards for small-business lending
2) Collaborate with business stakeholders (risk, finance, product, sales & marketing) to understand key requirements and translate them into software products
3) Write clean & maintainable code to automate crucial manual processes
4) Build business intelligence dashboards, reports, and quantitative analyses to answer key business questions with data
5) Develop user-facing data products and contribute to the analytical suite offered by Fulfin

What you Bring:

1) Currently enrolled in a University degree (Bachelor or Masters) in the field of computer science, mathematics, statistics or an equivalent quantitative discipline
2) Experience in a programming language, ideally Python
3) Experience with (or eager to learn) data querying with SQL
4) Passionate about Software Development and eager to learn new technologies
5) Analytical thinking skills: you enjoy solving complex problems that require a quantitative mindset
6) Self-organized and autonomous working style, with a proactive approach to collaboration and problem-solving across teams
