D1R is an investment research boutique. We are looking for a working student to join our technical research team. If you are into Python, data, and finance, this could be your thing.

What You’ll Be Doing:
• Build and improve tools for quant research
• Automate data workflows and play with APIs
• Collect and analyze market data
• Develop financial models in Python
• Prototype in Jupyter Notebooks and ship ideas fast

Your Profile
• Solid Python skills especially Pandas, NumPy, SciPy
• Comfortable with scripting, debugging
• SQL and API experience preferred
Bonus:
– Git, Jupyter
– ML basics (regression, classification, overfitting, cross-validation)
– Web scraping (BeautifulSoup, Selenium or similar)
– Cloud tools (AWS Lambda, SageMaker)
– Interest or exposure to LLMs(e.g. HuggingFace, LangChain)
– PyTorch for model training or fine-tuning
