About us
Climateflux is a company researching and
working in the field of environmental data science
in cities.
Our focus is highlighting the interactions
between outdoor environmental quality and people’s
presence, for improving the quality of the
urban experience.
This position offers hands-on experience in
urban climate research, experience with data
acquisition
and sensing. It provides an opportunity to
join a climate measurement campaign in Munich, to
explore the link between environmental
conditions, thermal sensation, and the role of
vegetation in
shaping healthy public spaces.
Your tasks
• Climatewalks: Walking on predefined paths
with a specialized backpack equipped with
environmental sensors to record variables
such as air temperature, relative humidity, global
radiation, wind speed
• Comfort reporting: Providing comfort
scores for the walks based on thermal sensation
