Working Student – Optical Engineering

Main Responsibilities:
• Support the Optical Packaging team to establish new optical setups.
• Contribute by focusing on building optics and conduct optical measurements in the laser lab.
• Apply lock-in detection technique for sensitive optical opto-electronic measurements through an atomic gas.
• Prepare comprehensive documentation and deliver insightful presentations of results.

Requirements:
• Currently enrolled in Physics, Electronic Engineering, or a related field at a University or University of Applied Sciences.
• Knowledge of fundamental optics and basic lab instrument is required, e.g. signal generator, voltage source and so on.
• Knowledge of experiment physics or atomic physics is a plus.
• Experience of lock-in detection is a plus.
• Organized, self-motivated, and able to work independently while contributing effectively in cross-functional teams.
• Hands-on experience in laboratory work and a willingness to engage in practical tasks.
• Strong English communication skills; fluency in Chinese or German is...
