interface, a European think tank on digital technologies, is looking for a student assistant for its AI Governance – Industrial Policy programme. The role focuses on supporting research on competitive niches in European AI, especially in foundation models and sectoral applications. Tasks include research, data analysis, and assisting with workshops and publications. Applicants should be enrolled at a German university (remote work possible) and have strong English skills (C2). Interest and experience in AI, policy, and data handling are required. The position offers flexible hours (8–12/week), remote work, and a supportive team culture. Start: August/September 2025, salary: 754€/month + 20€ mobile office allowance.
